Issue No 7 – April 2024 – FDOT District Six – SAFETY NEWSLETTER

On December 12-13, 2023, The Miami-Dade Transportation Planning Organization (TPO), in partnership with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), hosted a two-day workshop to discuss roadway safety design principles and provide planners, engineers and designers the foundation needed to address the needs of bicyclists and improve roadway safety features utilizing the best design methods. Various transportation agencies throughout South Florida attended.
