On February 9, 2025, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six teamed up with the University of Miami (UM) for their Annual Safety Fair Day, an event dedicated to educating students on critical safety topics. The fair brought together multiple law enforcement agencies and organizations to provide hands-on demonstrations and valuable safety tips.
